what is life coaching?

I've had a lot of people ask what life coaching is and how it is different than therapy. This article explains the difference, as well as the specific type of life coaching I do.



Life coaching involves partnering with clients to assist them in breaking down barriers that are holding them back. It also includes helping clients develop an action plan for taking steps forward.


It is different from most types of therapy in that we don’t typically focus on the past; rather, we center the sessions on the present and future state. If clients have sought therapy in the past to work through trauma circumstances, addictions, depression, anxiety, etc. and are still struggling with different challenges and not able to move past them, life coaching can help!


The specific type of life coaching I do is heart-centered. I work with clients to teach them how to heal and connect to their hearts in order to access their subconscious thoughts and feelings. The heart is our connection with divinity and where our source of truth and wisdom lie. Our hearts will never deceive us and always want what is best for us in life.


I absolutely love life coaching and have witnessed the difference it can make in my client's lives. It is a powerful tool that can lead to a happy, fulfilling life.
